when Catflap was built she was exhibited at the Braunston Historic Boat Show to show off the builder's skills. She then spent the next 3 years moored in Braunston Marina. We brought her back to the Wey Navigation close to where we live and she spent the summer on a National Trust Mooring before returning to Braunston where she spent the next 10 years while we explored the midlands. On the way back to Braunston we came up the Thames and came across a little uninhabited island where we moored for the night.
This fine water can was painted for us by our friend Phil Speight who has been awarded an OBE for services to canal art.
